NLC announce date and location of fuel subsidy removal protest


There is widespread anger in the land over the hike in fuel price increase as a result of govt announcement of subsidy removal with effect from January 1st 2012.
As a result of this Labour and Civil organizations are warming up for a showdown with the government so as to register their displeasure and demand a reversal back to status quo.

This are some of plans of the mass protest of labour as stated below:

Protest starts Today Tuesday, Jan 3rd @ 8.am, at NLC Secretariat – 29, Olajuwon Street opp. Tejuosho market, Yaba, Lagos.
Also:
*Protest in Makurdi takes off at 10am  3rd January 2012, Venue is Woodland Park
*Signing of protest register against the removal of oil subsidy at the Emir’s Palace, Gombe from 9:00am today.
