The report of re-arrest of Kabiru Sokoto (Umar) as early released is a calculated attempt my the Police to deceive Nigerians and ensure that the Inspector General who have been briefed about his exit from the Police force will have a second life.
Their plans to bring in a fake ‘Kabiru Sokoto’ was aborted by the special police that arrested him, who have released the real pictures of the bomber.
The PRO of the Nigerian Police Force, Mr. Sola Amore’s news briefing an hour later was the twist, the police used to save face, as it is impossible to bring a fake suspect to Nigerians.
Kabiru Umar Sokoto is NOT re-arrested, his picture has been posted everywhere, so there will be no foul play by the police collaborators that ‘released’ him in Abaji.
In a related development, the Inspector General (IG) of Police Hafiz Ringim, “has not appeared near his office since Wednesday as his office at the Force Headquarters was reportedly cordoned off and searched, indicating the seriousness the presidency is attaching to the suspect’s escape”.
Two option are available for the replacement of the IG from the Presidency.
**To be replaced by 2 DIGs, DIG Ivy Okoronkwo, and DIG John Udah.
**Retiring all the DIG while appointing the new IG from the ranks of the Assistant Inspectors General of Police, as the Presidency have lost faith in the entire Police leadership.
