We remember how the government, its officials, its agents, praise
singers and the sectional irredentists inventing every lie in the world
to force down an inhuman fuel price increment on us last January.
We remember how they promised to transform Nigeria to heaven on earth
if they were allowed to walk away with the heist they wanted to coin
from the blood of Nigerians last January.
We remember as they
told us that every problem in Nigeria will disappear if they are allowed
to steal from us in the name of fuel subsidy removal.
Five months later, can someone tell us what happened with those promises?
What happened to that promise to turn Nigeria to modern Eldorado with the increment in the price of fuel?
What happened to those wonderful promises; the millions of jobs, the
modern railways, the super highways, the power stations, the free
houses, the mass transit buses, etc?
Where are all those
hirelings that were sermonizing of the wonders the fuel price increment
a.k.a fuel subsidy removal would do to our nation?
Where are
the hired trumpeters, the washer men and the flutists that were sing
praising the potentials of the fuel price increment?
Five
months of collecting a whopping N32 on every liter of fuel consumed by
hapless Nigerians, where are the wonders promised by these heartless
grim reapers and their hirelings?
How long are we to wait before the dawn of the promised Eldorado?
What manner of nation is this where the leaders freely scam the people and are allowed to get away with this?
