Operation Flush PDP in 2015: Buhari Agrees To Join ACN

Going by the information gathered from credible sources in the political arena, indications are very strong that the alliance between the CPC and the ACN will work this time around, as the party led by General Muhammadu Buhari is set to dissolve into the ACN ahead of 2015.

Already, leaders of the CPC have been briefed of Gen. Buhari’s readiness to dissolve his party into the ACN so that the two parties could then evolve into a stronger opposition party. Olufamous.com also learnt that Buhari is personally leading the negotiation to avoid any hiccups.

The National Chairman of the Party, Prince Tony Momoh, was quoted by a source as saying that a national convention could be called before the end of the year to ratify the new status of the CPC in line with the merger with the ACN.

The said convention “is expected to mirror the new status of the party for the emergence of new leadership, depending on the way the planned alliance with the ACN goes.”
