According to the British Broadcasting Corporation, a lone suicide bomber has detonated his explosives laden car in Damaturu, the Yobe state capital, killing at least six soldiers, and two civilians. Eyewitnesses said that the bomber rammed his car into a military vehicle that was part of a convoy, killing the six soldiers and two civilians.
