The face behind Nollywood’s Award/Miss Nigeria Entertainment Scam in London …Frankie Nollywood Unmasked.

Face behind Nollywood’s Award/Miss Nigeria Entertainment Scam in London
…How he fleeced Nigerians in Europe, Canada & US

Frankie, ring leader of a notorious ‘Advanced Fraud Fee,’ otherwise known as ‘419’, positions himself as Publisher, Filmmaker, Writer and author/producer of the “highly commendable encyclopedia titled ‘Who’s Who in Nigeria Entertainment.” To further convince his victims, he drops name of ‘endorsement by the Nigerian Presidency,’ so that no one suspects a foul play.

In his profile on facebook, he said the followings: “My highly commendable encyclopedia titled ‘Who’s Who in Nigeria Entertainment’ is endorsed at the highest level of the Nigerian Government including the PRESIDENCY through the National Sports Commission, The Federal Ministry of Information and Communication, The Federal Ministry for Arts and Culture and the National Assembly through the House Committee on Information.”

His next scam style is to write electronic mails (e-mails) to well-positioned Nigerians abroad using ‘Urbanmingles’, through a customized yahoo mail on ‘tourisca.’ Below are few of the unedited e-mails he sent out to defraud some top Nigerian/foreign celebrities, where he allegedly claimed he is the President of the Nigeria Entertainment Film Festival Awards, and Coordinator of Miss Nigeria Entertainment World (MNEW), an unregistered body unknown to the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria. The irony of it all is that investigations by Naija Standard revealed that he is ‘holed up’ and hiding in Abuja, where he operates his ‘illegal business.’

Dear Friend,
Thanks for your email, though my email via facebook stated that I’m expecting some refunds on the 16th of December to send you the money on 19 December, not because of your request, but because I just feel like sending the money to you as the fee is non-refundable.

However since that’s how you wanted it, I’ll be waiting for the papers from your attorney in Nigeria. Also my attorney will be contacting you for proper clarification how you came up with the $5000 (Five Thousand Dollars) you were demanding that we send to you and Esosa.

Good morning, Frank.
I’ve sent you a few messages via Facebook and I’m yet to get a response from you. I have been requesting a $150 refund for the fees Esosa paid for MNE. Esosa put a lot of her personal time and effort into preparations for MNE. It is unquestionable that she has been quite patient in awaiting her refund. We got a December 16th date from you as to when the refund will be issued, and without explanation or word from you, that did not happen. Now, we are taking this opportunity to ask for the refund again. Please refund the money immediately. If we do not hear back from you by end of business on Monday, our attorney in Nigeria will serve you with papers.

Esosa also spent $300 in attorney fees for the contract which she was NOT going to ask for a refund for, but since Urbanmingles pulled the plug due to no fault of hers with no warning, she is also asking that the $300 be refunded to her.

Please reply to this e-mail, and copy Esosa as well. We look forward to your response.

Interpol Wades in
After the fraud had been allegedly committed by Frankie, petitions were written by Nneoma to the Metropolitan Police, United Kingdom (UK). Information at our disposal revealed that in view of the gravity of the financial crime, International Police (INTERPOL) attention was sought. And as at today, Frankie is alleged by one of the officers to be on the ‘wanted list’ of the global police.

Nigerian Security set to track him down
Having been communicated to regarding the financial crimes allegedly committed by Frankie, detectives, we gathered are already ‘sniffing’ for him in Plateau State, his ‘alleged’ birth place, though bearing ‘Ibo’ name, Abuja, and all the states in South East.

As at the time of going to press, information on the ‘call data’ of Frankie had been sent to all the telecommunication providers in Nigeria, in a bid to track him at all cost. As the good book says “there is no peace for the wicked”, he can only run, but cannot hide.

  1. They commit the offence and leave the weight on the shoulders of other good and great Nigerians to carry...making us to be tagged "criminals" even before ppl get to know who we truely are. This guy and many like him deserve to be given very stiff punishment for their crime against humanity...cos that is what their crime is.

  2. I just couldnt agree less.....They should be made to face the full wrath of the law.....Sure they are quite away of the weight of the sin they have committed hence the law should take its full course now that they have been caught in the act.
Unworthy Ambassadors that's what they are....
