The ideal Jihad.......

And do not think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allâh as dead, rather, they are alive with their Lord and are being provided for." [Qur'an 3:169] " Their souls are inside the bodies of green birds, who live in lanterns suspended from the Throne, roaming freely in Jannah where they please, then taking shelter in those lanterns." [Abdullah ibn Mus'ud: Muslim, Tirmidhi]


Let me quickly point out here that this is one of the verses people who engage in terrorist act hold on to.....This verse was sent down from heaven as a mark of honour to those who fought alongside the noble prophet Muhammad pbuh and to those who will against all odds stand firm to fight in the cause of Allah "justifiably" (Jihad) not the killing of innocent men and women with their children who are harmless and have got nothing to do with the wars facing you people.....
The beauty of this verse is war is inevitable but if you must declare war it has to be justified and your actions therafter are also guided by caution.
This analogy is simply to the best of my knowledge I might be right and I might be wrong but I stand to be corrected that the so called war being fought by Boko Haram is uncalled for and unislamic in nature.....
